Shopgirl's Shanghai

Besides shopping, I am reading this book by Dan Brown! It’s a pageturning book for sure! I was at the library the other day and I found soooo many awesome books that I want to read. Reading is underrated!!! Apart from this book I am also reading a thesis about post-earnings announcement drift and how it affects the stock market. Heh..it’s not going so well for me on the Sthlm Stock Exchange atm so I need more knowledge regarding this topic.

I have always LOVED loafers from Tod’s, it’s not necessary as trendy as the heels from Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin, but they are extremely comfortable and classy…

As I am poor at the moment I could not buy a pair of Tod’s for myself, but instead I helped my bf buying a pair. I just think that all guys should own a pair of Tod’s. If my guy doesn’t own a pair of Tod’s, I will make sure he does! Finally, he is well-equipped!

Thanks to me I discovered that these Tod’s were on SALE at Nordiska Kompagniet (NK) in Stockholm. Even in the tax-free land of HK they charge about 3000 for a pair! But I bought them for (only 2000 SEK!!!!!

The result was a pair of wine-red/red classic Tod’s loafers!

This movie was exceptionally good!!! A very untraditional Disney movie I would say. Quite unpredictable…

I tried on two dresses and a pair of shoes from the Swedish international brand Acne, and they were both fabulous, simple but high quality. You just feel that you are not wearing some HM made-in-china-cheapo-clothes. I want them! I want them! I want them! I don’t have a job, but I still want them… but 40% sales is a bit too low… I want at least 50% off!!!

Finally I have been feeling some summer holiday indication! The Stockholm weaher is amazing at the moment and I am really enjoying being in Sweden this summer. Today I am doing math tests and reading “Angels and Demons” by Dan Brown. Awesome! What do you think of the Wayfarers?

Midsummer was celebrated in a villa in north Stockholm (Näsby Park)

Last year I celebrated in Shanghai with 200 other Swedes. Drank so much I lost my new Steve Madden heels and expensive Dior palette. This midsummer will be slightly different, instead it is going to be easy and relaxed. Going to my friend’s house to celebrate with champagne, chocolate and strawberries!
