These days I have been spending many hours at the library studying despite the nice weather outside! Before exams you should eat and exercise well in order to make your brain more acceptable for new information! Sweets are good also because it makes your blood sugar go up high and during this time you are even more effective in your studies, that is why I always eat lots of unhealthy sweet stuff during exams! Never complained so far

Hewlett Packard is launching a new mini HP-computer for all the people with yellow fever out there. The cooperation is together with a famous Chinese (- American) designer Vivienne Tam. Like it? I still prefer my Macbook!

Today I found out that a report that I have been working on when I was in China has finally been sent out to all the important embassies around the world. It’s an official report of the economic situation of Shanghai. FINALLY. Another reason to celebrate tonight! And….I have a splendid new idea regarding my thesis that I will be writing next semester!

Recently, I applied for the Talent Training Management Consulting at Ernst & Young. It will take place this fall for ten students to go through several intensive courses together with people from Ernst & Young preparing for a future as management consultant. I got invited to go to the interview which concluded of a personal part and a case solution part. I was mostly worried about the case solution part, but thanks to my bf who taught me how to work with cases, it went fairly well at the interview, but did however make several mistakes during the case solution. After the interview I had to take several tests at E&Y’s Assessment Center, verbal, logical and math tests, and trust me, they were really hard. I was pretty sure that I wouldn’t get qualified, but now they just called me to say that I was accepted to the group!!! Imagine how happy I am. I am pinching myself now! This means that I have achieved another important step in my future career!

Yesterday I spent my whole afternoon and evening with writing personal letters and updating my CV. I need to apply for a job because I am graduating next year. The optimal would be if I got a job before my graduation. My dream would be working for a corporation within marketing and sales. Preferrably products that I know well, such as beauty- or chocolate products

Any headhunters out there?

Through my life I have changed my career path several times. When I was in my early teens I was 100% sure that I would want to become a lawyer, that idea lasted for about 5 years. After that, I decided I wanted to work with business for a big international corporation. And where am I now? Been working for the government for about 10 months, and feel pretty good with it…so far.

Do you remember how obsessed I was with KPMG a year ago, I was determined to get into that organization, and if you ask me today I will say, I want to be far far away from any of the Big four accounting firms…

Your career preferences is somewhat alike to what your boyfriend preferences have resulted in. You never get what you planned to get, but even if you don’t get what you planned to get, you are still pretty damn satisfied!

I’m going back to Sweden on sunday, but will probably be back next month again….why?

I got offered a new job….

I just can’t say no, because this new place has been my dream-office since I was 10….seriously, when I was 10 years old I DREAMT of this place, and when this opportunity falls from the sky, I just can’t say no. Despite the fact that I would LOVE to take a break from Shanghai.

So excited, when back in Stockholm I got lots of things to do, apply for work visa for an example. This is really exciting.

I will be working for the general consulate of Sweden in shanghai, that’s all I can say. Nothing more. Top secret job

Oh. My. God.

Just checked my university’s webpage, and saw that this coming term I am going to study 6 courses in one semester. This is the toughest semester ever!

I land in Stockholm the 18th, lessons already starts on the 18th. Gosh. Gosh. Gosh.

Back to reality!

This coming semester I am not going to do any part time job. I’m going to STUDY STUDY STUDY!

My goal is to achieve B in majority of the classes.
