July 29th, 2010OtherThere is a Louis Vuitton saga out there circulating, let me retell you this story. Who know if it’s true or not. But probably yes…

There was a Saturday when a young couple went into the Louis Vuitton flagship store on Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The guy picks up a bag worth 6500 euros and tell the shop assistant that the bag is for his company, a very beautiful young looking office lady. He takes out a check and signs it. The shop assistant seems to be slightly bothered as he wasn’t sure if the check was valid or if it was authentic.
The man told the shop assistant that it was Saturday, so all the banks are closed. He suggested that the shop assistant can keep the bag at the store until Monday when the bank has opened up again and can verify that the check is in fact approved. After it is approved the shop assistant could personally deliver this delicate piece of handbag to this lady. The shop assistant approved and thought it was a great idea.
On Monday, the shop assistant was shocked to find out that the check was in fact not approved! He calls the guy immediately and tells him the horrified news. The guy simply answers, Oh don’t worry. Last Saturday I already got to sleep with the girl. Thanks for your cooperation!
The End.

July 28th, 2010FoodI shouldn’t mention this but Oh My God. Have you ever tried Werther’s Original Caramelts??? They are caramels that melt in your mouth. They are soft instead of the traditional hard ones. They are absolutely amaaaaaaziiiiiing.
Addictive. Dangerous. Don’t care about the outside world – dangerous.
Freaky!

I got mine from Germany, I think they are very hard to find in Sweden and other countries…….thank GOD!

LV may be slightly overrated, but when they are good, they are really good!
Love Stella McCartney’s designs -
July 27th, 2010FoodLook what I made this weekend in the kitchen! I don’t only like shopping but also LOVE to cook! The result was awesome and honestly the pics doesn’t make it fair…it looked much better actually
Just use your imagination…The first dish is a mix between Chinese fried rice and Singaporean fried rice, it is mixed together with beef, spring onion and some other interesting stuff! It may not looks so delicious, but it was!
Second dish is fried tomatoes with eggs, a classical Chinese dish that is both sweet and delicious!
Third dish, is fried garlic asparagus in soy sauce. Superhealthy and has a very traditional Chinese taste.
Fourth dish, is juicy beef with red peppers. This was my partner’s favourite dish, only because I made the beef superjuicy together with the different spices.
Don’t call me Shopgirl, simply call me Foodgirl

July 24th, 2010FoodDid you think that my Paris photos were all published on the blog? Oh so wrong you are!!! I still haven’t showed you all the food we indulged in while being there!!! Here you go…
Breakfast on the balcony
A restaurant in Montmartre where we enjoyed french onion soup, duck breast and foie gras salad, entrecôte and chocolate mousse, yummy!
French Onion Soup – surprisingly delicious!
Entrecôte dish
Duck breast salad with foie gras pate
Mmmmm chocolate mousse……
Another evening we went to a local creperie place, they did not have an English menu so I just randomly picked one, what I got was some kind of meat with lots of mashed apples, so so experience I have to say. But my partner got a very nice one together with a raw egg. We also enjoyed real apple cider. Totally different to bottled ones.
